44DB IS a producer collective based in Lagos, Nigeria, it’s made up of some of the most talented and innovative music producers in the industry. With a diverse range of influences and a shared passion for pushing the boundaries of modern music production, this group has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the NIGERIAN music scene. Founded by Tochi Bedford, who saw a need for more diverse and forward-thinking production ORGANISATION in the Nigerian music industry, the collective has grown to include some of the most respected and sought-after producers in the country. With a wide range of styles and expertise, the collective is able to bring a unique and fresh perspective to every project they work on. In just a few years, the collective has built a reputation for consistently delivering top-quality productions for a wide range of artists, both in Nigeria and around the world. They have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, and their tracks are constantly being played across the world. With their innovative approach, it's clear that the super music producer collective is here to stay, and will continue to be a driving force in the music industry for many years to COME.

TOCHI BEDFORD
Tochi is an extremely talented artist and producer based in Lagos. He is the founder of the 44dbcollective and all this happened after his uncle left a demo of FL Studio on his computer when he was 15, Tochi has since gone on to produce for artists including Odunsi (TheEngine), Cruel Santino, Zamir, Amaarae, Skepta & Gus Dapperton . June 2020 saw the release of Tochi's debut project Eternal Mob. He went on to release his second EP, "After Eternity " in 2021 and a third project, HALF BLUE, in 2023. Tochi is just at the beginning of his incredible musical journey and is definitely one to watch for in the foreseeable future.
TRILL XO
More popularly known by his moniker, Trill Xoe, got into music production at 15 via his senior in secondary school, who introduced him to Fruity Loops and taught him some basics. Already musically inclined by being his church drummer, it did not take long for Trill to start remaking beats to some of his favourite songs like Chief Keef's 'Love Sosa'. Trill started off as a Hip-Hop producer before leaving Nigeria for university in the island of Mauritius, where his closest friends were from various parts of Africa and was thus exposed to different African sounds. This, along with the rising 'alte' scene back home inspired Trill to push himself to improve his range of production. Trill credits Sarz, RZA, Kanye West, Mike Dean, and Travis Scott as producers that have had a lot of influence on his sound. Mastering a variety of unique sounds, from the hard-key blasts on a South African house beat to the soft guitar strumming of an Afrobeats love tune, Trill is working hard to place himself as one of the most diverse African producers right now.
JOHNSON IP
Derek Okorie also known as KD is a budding producer on the rise. From the heart of Lagos, KD started his musical journey by playing the keyboard for his secondary school's band. Producing professionally at 17 (2016) he produced for local acts like SB, SOMADINA and KIDA KUDZ eventually signing a deal with Jiggy Boyz Ent in 2018-19. And by 2020, he released Sins & Scenes, a joint project with (Loti) and took Lagos and the world by storm. Being around RD in a creative space, you can't miss the details he puts into making music. When heholds the microphone, you never know what to expect. Surfing rhymes into melodies while maintaining original delicate lyrics, a blend of Pop, Trap, R&B and many more. A musical Revelation and Revolution really! Years of being a producer has helped him find a sound that not only reflects his gifts as an artist, but also allows his listeners connect with his music. This makes him stand out. Record after record of fine tuning his music, KD has mastered the art of not just creating music but also giving his music life.

TOBI FADS
'Tobifads' A.k.A Fads' , formally known as Oluwatobi started realising his music talent in 2016 as a new O' level graduate looking for areas of interest to delve into. He has since been mastering his skills on writing and composing music and his favourite instrument of choice is a computer software known to many as the 'goat' software called 'FL Studio'. His favourite way of approaching music is collaborating with friends and other colleagues in the same area of interest. He joined 44DB in 2018 and has since been part of the production process that led to the release of some lovely tunes which the group was credited on. Although he hasn't released any body of work of his own, he has managed to attract the listening ears of some key artists in the Nigerian music industry such as Blackbonez, Psychoyp, Terri, Superboycheque, DJ Neptune and others. Tobifads is a diverse producer/songwriter as he switches between genres especially afro and hip/hop or trap while expressing himself.

After a brief stint playing drums in his school, he turned to making beats at age 13 after he saw some friends playing around with FL Studio11 and decided to give it a try, he started out with EDM under the alias "Woodpile" later "Woodpils" where he amassed a total of over 500K plays on SoundCloud and Music streaming platforms. Presently, he has worked with several artists in the Nigerian music industry scene where he has prod Zamir, Wani,Tochi Bedford, Apex's village Azanti, PsychoYp, and much more, amassing millions of plays collectively.
MALIK BAWA
Malik Bawa is a music producer and sound designer currently residing in the US. Since his introduction to production back in 2014, he has honed his craft, collaborating with a plethora of artists over a vast array of genres. He started making music 10 years ago and at the time, it was just a way to explore his creative side and eventually, it became one of his favourite things to do. Years later, music brought him and the 44 boys together and they started the 44DB collective. He has worked with several talented people such as PsychoYP, Azanti, Mafeni & Nesza to name a few. He recently dropped a 3-track project titled "Maverick' and has a lot more in the tank for music listeners,
VEEN
Born Johnson Kelvin, the 21 year old self-taught producer, audio engineer, artist and songwriter is a one man army: producing, writing, performing and engineering every track in his catalogue. Veen started his journey as a producer in 2015, learning from youtube and his elder brother, Kiienka. Prior to that, he was learning how to play the piano as a young teenager which came in handy when he eventually became a music producer. Producing his own first official release in 2016, and then consequently producing strings of EPs, Singles and 2 Albums. Executively producing 10 projects from 2017 to date. Veen joined the producer collective, 44DB in 2018 after collaborating with co-founder Johnson IP. Since then, Veen has collaborated with members of 44DB on a number of chart topping singles and worked with artists such as leun Elio, Gabzy, PsychoYP, Kiienka, Chimymusic and more just to mention a few.
DJ LOLU
Sinmiloluwa Adepoju, dj and producer commonly known as lolu began his journey in the music industry firstly as a dj at age 19 in the city of Lagos, Nigeria. The inspiration came from closely shadowing his good friend di/Chef Honcho. Exposed to media such as YouTube, and software like, Virtual dj and Serato, lolu practised and mastered his craft on his dj decks. From the summer of 2019 till date, lolu performed gigs at various events in Nigeria and the UK, being primarily based there for his education. This further exposed him to different sounds and crowds, widening his scope. At the rise of Covid 19 and following the lockdown, while surrounded by producer friends like Kondé Oko, Yinka Bernie and Zee, lolu took the opportunity to learn music production and audio engineering.Merging his dj ear with the production craft gave him a niche advantage, evolving into today's self-taught producer using music to tell stories and create timeless sonic experiences. His sound is inspired by Nigerian and international producers such as Pierre, Sarz, Higoo, Kanye, GMK, Le Mav, Kenny beats and Monte booker. In 2021, lolu joined what is known currently as the I top Nigerian producer collective - 44DB, as a producer and the collective's official dj.
LEX
Alex Tochuckwu, known as LEXINR is a Nigerian multi-genre producer, sound designer and songwriter who crafts a unique sound that touches upon accessible and honest topics and has helped shape him as one of the top rising young producers to look out for. He is also a member of the super 44DB collective which consists of producers, songwriters and artists. In 2020, during the pandemic, Lex dropped his first official release "uber away" after working on various projects that was featured on the Apple Music official playlist as one of the best songs of 2020 and was also featured on Rolling Stone. Merging his African influences with different genres, he has worked with a wide array of artists and served ear-perking remixes. He is inspired by producers such as JLL, Krs and P2J.
JESSE ALORDIAH
Born in Lagos Nigeria, Jesse Alordiah is a music producer, mix engineer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Well versed in playing the guitar, piano and drums, his productions incorporate elements of soul, afrobeats and dancehall immersed in captivating groovy riddins" and drum patterns. Winner of Stardom Nigeria 2019 (music producer category) and a member of the Ejoya Class of '22, Jesse Alordiah has production credits on songs with Amaarae, Blaqbonez, Alpha Ojini, Ogranya, Olayinka Ehi and many others
