His genre-defying tracks and UNORTHODOX EP earned him viral fame, but 2025 marks a bold new chapter. With DON PABLO, his first EP of the year, Bims steps into his self-proclaimed role as a “master of music craft,” merging African rhythms, hip-hop, and dancehall into a sound that’s uniquely his.

DON PABLO is a celebration of culture and raw humanity. Produced by Energyboiy, the EP pulses with infectious beats and soulful melodies, weaving stories of love, resilience, and joy. Tracks like What I Can Do blend Yoruba proverbs with Lagos’ carefree nightlife spirit, while Dey Play honors Bims’ Nigerian roots through Fuji-inspired grooves. “This project isn’t just music—it’s a dancefloor revolution,” Bims shares. “It’s about breaking boundaries and letting people feel alive through every note.”

But beneath the rhythm lies vulnerability. Demons, a collaboration with Zen, lays bare Bims’ battles with burnout and anxiety, amplified by his mother’s worries and late-night cigarettes. In contrast, Illegal spins a flirtatious tale of a club encounter with a mysterious woman, capturing the thrill of connection. Even the upbeat When I’m High channels frustration into a defiant anthem. “These songs are my diary,” Bims says. “I’m showing my strengths, flaws, and the moments that make us human.”
