“Naija Women” is a one-off women’s anthem that brings together rappers of Nigerian origin over the booming and cinematic backdrop provided by UK-based producer/DJ Teck-Zilla. The rappers include US-based JXXIII and Quinja, Jos, Nigeria-based Sentence and Lagos-Nigeria-based Yada and Reespect in that order.
The quintet share their experiences as women making headway in a male-dominated space. The lyrics focus on their trials, tribulations, strengths and passions as women carving a niche in the game.
